FAQ

What should I never sell in Last Stop?
Your revolver (it is the best final-boss weapon), spare wheels, gasoline and coal boxes, quest items, and any medium ammo. Everything else is a candidate for cash.
Is there an item value list for Last Stop?
Not a verified one yet. The game is a fast-patching Beta and per-item prices are still being confirmed — this page gives the decision framework that works without exact numbers, and a price table will follow once values can be verified.
How do I make money fast in Last Stop?
Loot special buildings over houses, sell everything the four-question test rejects, and clear checkpoints — their guaranteed loot is worth several hundred dollars per clear, close to $1,000 at the second checkpoint.
Do selling milestones give rewards in Last Stop?
The badge track confirms sale-value milestones at $25,000 and $125,000 — they mark your income progress and reward steady selling rather than one lucky haul.

What should you sell in Last Stop?

Sell anything that fails the four-question test: Can it kill? Can it repair? Can it fuel? Can it complete an objective? If the answer is no four times, it’s cash waiting to happen. In practice that means duplicates, low-rarity loot, loose coal, and the food and armor you find past what you need all get sold at the next station — while the revolver, spare wheels, gas, and quest items never leave your bag.

The rarity filter: your first sorting rule

Last Stop tags every item with a rarity, and it’s the fastest income filter in the game:

  • Rare, epic, and legendary items are your bread-and-butter sales. Loot them on sight.
  • Low-rarity items are inventory poison. A full bag means leaving the genuinely valuable item on the floor — skipping junk is making money.
  • Duplicates of anything useful: keep one, sell the rest.

The four-question keep-or-sell test

When rarity doesn’t decide it, run the item through four questions:

  1. Can it kill? Weapons and their ammo stay. The iron sword rides all run, the revolver with medium ammo is non-negotiable — it’s the final-boss weapon and the one item players regret selling at minute forty.
  2. Can it repair or upgrade the bus? Spare wheels stay in the bag — late-game rides pop wheels, and a spare turns a run-ending breakdown into a pit stop. Repair items stay.
  3. Can it fuel? Gasoline and coal boxes stay; loose coal goes — it gives little fuel for the space it eats.
  4. Can it complete an objective? Quest items, keys, and rescue-related objects stay until delivered. NPCs left behind teleport to the bus, but their quest items don’t carry themselves.

Everything else — the fourth “no” — gets sold at the next station.

Selling milestones: the badges that reward volume

Last Stop’s badge track confirms sale-value milestones at $25,000 and $125,000. They’re a nudge toward the right habit: steady, aggressive selling beats hoarding. A clean checkpoint clear is guaranteed income — the second checkpoint alone pays out several hundred dollars — so the milestone curve is really about how ruthlessly you filter your bag.

Where to sell (and where to stop selling)

Stations are your market: food and armor are steady sellers there, and every stop is a chance to dump the junk the test rejected. But there’s a turn: at the mid-run terminals, stop optimizing sales and buy gas until your wallet is thin — gasoline plus a coal box is the efficient buy. Cash converts to mobility in the late run; mobility converts to reaching the last stop.

That final conversion is the whole economy: sell aggressively early, spend on gas and wheels mid-run, and walk into the final boss with a full tank, a stocked gun, and nothing in your bag you’d miss.

Where this fits in the run

Looting rules live in the beginner guide, and the spending side — what to buy and in what order — is covered in the bus upgrade priority guide. Redeem today’s codes for free Tickets and skip part of the grind entirely.
