Who is the Kraken in Last Stop?
The Kraken is the sea monster anchored in open water beside the oil rig — the biggest health bar on the ocean leg of the route and the only boss that lives outside a building. It arrived with the 19 September Ocean Biome update as a sleeping silhouette under a spawn in 3 days timer, and it has been the rig’s optional final fight since it woke.
This page is built the same way as our Dracula and Anubis guides: every number is read off a frame we personally verified, and everything that is only spoken gets labelled as a creator’s account. The short version: the health pool and the awakening trigger are on-screen facts, the fight pattern and the kill reward are narration — one of them from the very run our frames come from.

How do you trigger the Kraken fight?
The trigger is the rig itself. Work through the three floors — the route, the keycards and the floor vaults are on our oil rig guide — and the moment the third-floor vault is looted, the game announces the boss. Our frame catches the exact beat:

The red text reads The Kraken has awakened!, stacked directly under a +4 Ocean Token toast — the game pays out the vault’s tokens and wakes the boss in the same breath. The player who filmed it stepped outside into the rain and the blue bar was already waiting over the water.
One historical note so the timeline stays honest: the 19 September launch footage shows the Kraken asleep and invulnerable, with a spawn in 3 days timer floating over its head — the developers staged the wake-up as a server-wide event rather than tying it to any single player’s progress. Today the wake condition is the one our frame records: open the last vault, fight the boss.
How much HP does the Kraken have?
2,000. This one is read, not quoted. The bar opens at 2,000/2,000:

And the same bar comes back frame after frame as the fight wears on — 1,950, then 1,850, then 1,800, and 1,750 in the head-on shot that opens this page. The player doing the draining is firing a revolver; every hit that lands moves the bar by a visible sliver, which is exactly what a 2,000 pool against light weapons should look like.
For scale: that is roughly a fifth of Dracula’s 9,000, and nowhere near the 35,000 Fred bar we caught in passing footage. The Kraken is not a gear check — it is a positioning check, which the next section explains.
How do you beat the Kraken?
What our own frames establish: the fight happens in open water beside the rig, in the rain, the boss attacks with tentacles that arc out of the water and slam down, and it closes distance — the head shot shows it raised directly in front of the player’s platform.

Everything below the trigger and the health pool is the narration column — one creator talking over his own run, and a second creator describing the same fight in his route video. We label it as such because no frame isolates a single mechanic:
- Stay on the surface and bunny-hop. The fight narrator’s core advice is constant movement — circles and jumps — so tentacle slams land where you were, not where you are.
- Phase one is a shooting gallery. He narrates ranged weapons doing the work until the bar dips, then a phase two where the boss closes in.
- Watch for the spin. His one named danger is a large area attack that sweeps around the boss: back off when it starts, step back in after. He adds that the boss’s damage is low enough that a moving player is rarely threatened — consistent with our frame of a player standing on the rig structure trading revolver fire.
- Melee works when ammo doesn’t. The same account finishes with a vampire-sword fallback in close, the life-steal blade from our classes overview.
What does the Kraken drop?
Two independent creators agree on 30 Ocean Tokens for the kill — the route video we filmed calls it “they’ll get 30 ocean tokens”, and the earlier boss guide says “around 30 tokens”. That is narration twice over, not a reward screen, so treat the exact figure as the best account on record rather than a measured fact.
What we can rule out: a badge. Our 7 October read of the game’s Roblox badge list stands at 34 badges — Ocean Treasure, the two Fred endings, Dracula, the horse trio, the traveller ladder — and none of them mentions the Kraken. The 30 tokens are the only prize on record, spendable at the lobby’s Ocean Spin.
One detail our frames add that no transcript mentions: the rescued children follow you into the fight. The purple Children nameplate that starts at the checkpoint-one cage is visible in the water beside the player mid-Kraken-fight. We have no footage of them being harmed, and no frame shows whether they leave — it is an observation, not a mechanic claim.
Can you skip the Kraken?
Yes in practice. The run our frames come from ends with the player declining the fight: he opens the third vault, the banner fires, he looks at his loadout — a driver class with a revolver — and heads back to the bus with his tokens rather than commit. The run continues; nothing on screen gates the road behind the rig.
The honest cost side: skipping forfeits the narrated 30 tokens, and those tokens are the whole point of the detour for most runs — 30 more at the Ocean Spin is two free spins toward the pity counter. If your run has the ammo to spare, the community consensus across both accounts is that the fight is short, safe for a moving player, and worth the stop. If it doesn’t, the rig’s vaults have already paid you.

Frames and on-screen numbers come from one video by VanYT, Fastest Way To Farm Ocean Tokens in Last Stop! (Roblox), uploaded 29 September 2026: the awakening banner and +4 token toast at t=673, the full 2,000/2,000 boss bar at t=682, the tentacle arc with the bar at 1,800/2,000 at t=700, and the head-on frame with the bar at 1,750/2,000 at t=706. The mid-fight readings at 1,950 and 1,850 come from the same 682-706 stretch.
Fight-pattern and reward narration comes from two videos by BlaxieBLOX: FASTEST Token Farm — Oil Rig + Kraken Boss Guide (23 September) for the bunny-hop advice, the phase split, the spin attack and the “around 30 tokens” line, and Ocean Update — All New Items and Secrets You Missed (19 September) for the sleeping spawn in 3 days intro. Both carry English auto-captions, used as a text source and labelled as narration wherever a claim rests on them; the frame source’s own narration is quoted only where marked. Every image on this page is a frame we extracted and personally verified; none carries a facecam or a burned-in caption. Text is our own write-up, and no in-game test was performed for this page.
