What are the four new buses in Last Stop?
The September update added four buses to the garage menu: the Alien, Rocket, Armoured, and Golden buses. They sit in the same bus menu as the Classic and Military rides — the category list now runs Classic, Military, Alien, Rocket, Armoured, Golden, Limousine — and each has its own card spelling out exactly what it does before you spend anything.

Three of the four have straight Ticket prices on their cards. The Alien Bus is the odd one out: no price is shown, because the only way the showcase gets it is the token spin — more on that below. The other three you simply buy, and which one deserves your Tickets first depends on what usually ends your run.
How does the Rocket Bus boost work?
The Rocket Bus costs 10K Tickets, and its card states the whole deal: fuel the boosters with 2 gas cans to launch the bus at 3x speed until the tank runs dry. Two boosters hang on the back, the bus is painted red, and it is by far the loudest way to cover the map.

The demo in the showcase makes the fuel rule clear:
- Load two gas cans into the boosters. Walk to the rear of the bus and press E on the Refuel Thruster prompt while holding a Gas Can.
- Drive and press the boost button when it appears at the bottom of the screen. You fly at 3x speed for as long as the tank has gas.
- Re-arm with two fresh cans. When the tank runs dry the boost ends — and refueling the bus does not bring it back. You must add two more gas cans to the boosters before it works again.
That last rule is the trap. In the footage, the player refuels the tank, finds the boost still disabled, and has to go back for two more cans. At 3x speed you burn fuel fast, and a dry tank ends runs — the fuel discipline from the upgrades page applies double here.

Is the Golden Bus worth 7.5K Tickets?
The Golden Bus card reads: starts with golden wheels, +15 top speed, 3,000 wheel health, and +10% ticket rewards — for 7.5K Tickets. It is the flashiest bus in the garage because it is literally made of gold, wheels included, and it is the only one that pays you back while you drive: every run earns a tenth more Tickets.
The stat that matters most is the least glamorous. Wheels are the bus’s soft spot — they take road damage all run — and 3,000 wheel health is more than double the Armoured Bus’s pool. If you can afford it, the Golden Bus is the best long-term pick: speed, tank wheels, and a ticket bonus that compounds every single run. Today’s codes hand out free Tickets, which softens the 7.5K price considerably.

How do you get the Alien Bus and the Alien Class?
The Alien Bus cannot be bought — the showcase only shows it coming from the token spin, the new glowing portal in the lobby. The board behind it is honest about the odds:

- A spin costs 15 alien Tokens, and the prize table runs from Ticket bundles (10 at 49.5% up to 500 at 1.5%) to a 1x Class Reroll at 0.5%, the Alien Class at 0.5%, and the Alien Bus at 1.0%.
- A pity meter tracks the Alien Bus — the counter reads 0/50, so the grind is bounded even if luck is bad.
- Tokens come from the aliens themselves. Invaded landmarks — houses with crashed UFOs, a scrapyard with ships hovering overhead — spawn aliens, some with ray guns, and every kill drops a token pickup.
The Alien Class is the bus’s companion piece: you spawn with a ray gun — good for 42 damage per shot in the showcase, reloaded with batteries found around the map — plus an alien hoverboard that the class card says glides 5 studs above the ground at double speed for as long as you keep it out.

In the field, the bus itself summons friendly aliens that fight alongside you, on a cooldown the showcase clocks at around five minutes. Even a “miss” on the spin pays Tickets, so saving tokens is never wasted — the full loop that feeds this grind is in the beginner guide.
What does the Armoured Bus actually do?
At 5K Tickets the Armoured Bus is the cheapest of the three priced buses, and its card promises deployable steel window shutters, +10 top speed, and 1,750 wheel health. The shutters answer the oldest death in the game: on a normal bus, zombies climb in through the windows. With the shutters toggled on, they get stuck outside.
The demo shows the trade honestly. Blocked from the windows, the horde starts hitting your tires instead — trying to strand you — which is exactly why the card bundles that 1,750 wheel health. One detail from the footage: even with the door open, walkers did not path inside. If checkpoint sieges keep bleeding you, this is the defensive pick; the checkpoint guide shows the fights it is built for.
Which new bus should you buy first?
Match the bus to what kills your runs:
- Dying to boarders at stops — the Armoured Bus (5K) closes the window problem for the lowest price.
- Already surviving, want every run to fund the next — the Golden Bus (7.5K) pays +10% ticket rewards forever and has the tankiest wheels.
- Want speed and will manage fuel — the Rocket Bus (10K) is a map-covering machine, but every boost costs two gas cans and a dry tank ends runs.
- Want the Alien Bus — save Tokens for the spin and let the pity meter work.
However you spend, remember the garage is only half the build — the upgrade priority still decides whether any bus survives the late game, and selling ruthlessly is what funds it all, per what to sell.
