What are horses in Last Stop?
Horses arrived with the 11 September update carrying three dedicated badges — Horseback Hunter, Rocket Rider, and Horse Slayer — all registered in the official Roblox badge record. Eight days later the split is stark: the two riding badges sit at zero awards, while Horse Slayer already has 39.
The game surfaces horses in two forms: wild ones you can claim, and mounted bandits who use them against you — both as announced road events with their own warning banners. The full badge list they plug into lives in our endings and badges guide.
Where do you find a horse in Last Stop?
Wild horses appear through a road event. The banner our footage captured reads, in full: “Wild horses spotted up ahead. Approach slowly to tame one.” It is the only official taming instruction in the game’s public surface, and it carries two facts: wild horses spawn ahead of you on the route, and the first move of a tame is patience — go in slow instead of sprinting at them.

The frame above also shows the honest complication: the warning popped while the bus was already committed to a night-camp boss fight — a glowing golden camp-guard boss with a 6,750 health bar. Road events do not wait for a clean moment; claiming the horse can mean disengaging from the fight the route just spawned and going back for it. Where wild horses cluster and what the tame interaction looks like up close: no video we checked shows any of it, so those stay unverified rather than becoming an invented spawn table. Route basics that decide when these events hit are in the beginner guide.
What does a tamed horse actually do for you?
The one described use comes from a tips video by BlaxieBLOX (Tip 27), and we label it a single source: tame a horse along the road and bring it with you, because horses naturally pull aggro. In his telling, swarms lock onto the horse instead of mobbing you, freeing you to clear them from outside the pile.
That decoy fantasy is what the badge design seems to reward: both kill badges demand you be riding while the swarm is around, which only makes sense if the horse absorbs some of the pressure. The tactic has limits, though — nobody has tested it in Nightmare Mode, where the always-on darkness makes a slow approach to a wild herd even riskier, and the mummy waves of Anubis will not chase a horse for you.
What are bandit riders?
The second horse event flips the animal against you. The banner: “Bandit riders are on your tail. Shoot them off their horses!” In our footage the riders wear cowboy hats, gallop straight up alongside the bus, and shoot from horseback while you drive — two of them boxed the bus hood from both sides of the road.

The counter-play is in the banner: shoot the rider off. Each killed rider pays BANDIT: +10 XP, doubled in our clip — the kill feed reads (X2) KILLED: BANDIT. Horses are not invulnerable decoys here either: they carry their own health bars, and a scoped sniper shot on one flashed a 405 damage number. Whether a riderless horse keeps charging, flees, or can be claimed mid-fight is not shown in any footage we checked.

One badge detail fits neatly: Horseback Hunter’s official description recently read “enemies” and now reads “bandits” — and bandits on horseback are precisely what this event supplies. That is our reading of the wording change, not an official note.
How do you farm the three horse badges?
All three horse badges, quoted from the official Roblox badge record as of 19 September 2026:
| Badge | Official wording | Where it stands |
|---|---|---|
| Horseback Hunter | Kill 200 bandits while riding a horse! | 0 awards, eight days after launch. |
| Rocket Rider | Kill 1,000 enemies with an RPG while riding a horse! | 0 awards — ten times the kills, plus an RPG. |
| Horse Slayer | Kill 100 horses before the bandits find them. | 39 awards — already the most-hunted of the three. |
Horseback Hunter wants 200 bandit kills with you mounted. The bandit-rider events are the only confirmed recurring bandit supply, so the grind likely means taming first and hunting riders second — but no video shows the full loop yet, and dismounted kills are ruled out by the wording itself (“while riding”).

Rocket Rider is Horseback Hunter scaled up: 1,000 kills, RPG only, still mounted. The RPG is a normal hotbar weapon — our wild-horse frame shows one slotted with an 8-missile count — and nothing says the kills must be bandits, which makes swarms the practical target pool. Rockets cost money, and today’s codes hand out free Tickets toward exactly that.
Horse Slayer is the strange one: kill 100 horses “before the bandits find them” — a race against the riders for the wild herds. Its 39 awards say the grind is live. Nobody has documented whether horses shot out from under bandit riders count toward the 100, or only wild ones — until a run proves it, treat both routes as unverified.
Whichever badge you chase, the horse badges are a long-game layer on top of the run itself — the full badge table shows how they sit beside the thirty that came before. And the route is not standing still: the Ocean Biome update opening its event window on 19 September is exactly the kind of drop that reshuffles road events, so the spawn notes above may age fast.
