It is a real route with a real badge, and the summary screen in our source recording reads Chosen Ending: Case Closed. But the Roblox badge record hands ending badges to only two outcomes — Cure Fred and Defeat Fred — so we describe Hollow Jack as the community's name for the secret Case Closed route rather than a third official ending.

They are the three commands the panel offers for Jack Hollow. Follow was the default in the recording and Stop was used to hold him in place; what each command does beyond its label isn't explained in-game and our sources don't demo the edge cases, so we won't guess.

What happens if Detective Jack Hollow dies?

Not demonstrated in either source. The badge wording implies the run loses the Case Closed award if he goes down before he finds Fred, but whether a fallen detective can be re-recruited in the same run is unverified — treat his health bar as the run's most protected number.

What is the Hollow Jack secret ending in Last Stop?

The name gets used two ways, and both point at the same route. Hollow Jack is the community label — borrowed from the detective’s own nameplate, which reads HollowJack in his menu — for the secret escort route that starts at the barn. Case Closed is what the game calls the payoff: it is both the badge you earn and the line the results screen prints. Our source recording closes on Chosen Ending: Case Closed, which is as close to official confirmation as this route gets.

One caveat keeps the record straight: the Roblox badge record only hands ending badges to two outcomes, Cure Fred and Defeat Fred, and tracks Case Closed as a badge — 1,115 awards as of 16 September 2026. The route itself is a protection job: recruit the detective, keep him breathing through every wave defense on the road, crack the hospital’s partial code on the way, and let him reach the man he has been hunting.

How do you start the Hollow Jack quest?

The quest-giver is the same black-suited NPC from the barn guide: finish the barn’s wave defense, and Detective Jack Hollow lays out his deal in the dialogue card. His own words: “He’s somewhere down this line. Keep me alive until I find him - I’ll make it worth your time.” Two replies appear — “Get on, detective.” tagged (Quest), or “No.” Take the first one and the escort begins.

His earlier dialogue explains who “he” is: missing buses, changed routes, his name on all of it. The man Jack is hunting turns out to be the one the whole run has been hinting at — Fred.

Which commands control Detective Jack Hollow?

Walk up to Jack and the E Loadout prompt opens his Entity Loadout panel — the same menu shown in the recording with his name, a health bar at 402/402 (he was already one point down the first time it opened), three equipment slots filled with Metal Helmet, Metal Chestplate, and Metal Leggings, and three commands: Follow, Stop, and Stay On Bus.

That panel doubles as his vitals monitor: the health bar is the Case Closed run’s real progress meter, so open it after heavy fights and check what the waves took. The commands are selectable — the recording switches him to Stop, which greens out the button and holds him where you left him.

What each command does beyond its label isn’t documented in-game, and the recording never demonstrates Stay On Bus — treat the names as accurate but the edge cases as unverified.

How do you keep Jack Hollow alive through the waves?

The road does not give you one defensive set piece — it gives a string of them, tracked by the same wave counter the rest of the run uses. The recording’s protection leg runs Wave 1/3 to Wave 3/3, each with a Remaining Entities counter (seven left in the daylight stop below, fifteen in the night one), and Jack fights alongside you through all of it.

The habits that carry him are the ones from the checkpoint guide: don’t chase stragglers into the open, fight from a wall or a tight corner so the horde funnels to you instead of surrounding him, and clear every entity before rolling out — leftovers come at the bus. You cannot see his health bar while you fight, so the discipline is positional: keep bodies off him, and open his panel when the wave counter hits zero.

If badge hunting is the point of your run, the survival discipline here transfers directly to Nightmare Mode — its own badge, and a much meaner road.

How do you break into the hospital in Last Stop?

The hospital on the route hosts the Break Into Hospital badge, and its official wording explains the whole puzzle: “Despite the Doctor giving you an incomplete code, you entered the correct code and claimed the reward.” The Doctor hands you part of the code; you work out the rest and enter the full one to claim the reward.

The award count says the puzzle is solvable, not gated: 126,676 awards as of 16 September 2026 make Break Into Hospital the fourth most-earned badge in the entire game, behind only the first zombie-kill, craft, and distance tiers. Read the digits the Doctor does give, reason about what a route code would look like, and the correct entry is usually the one that fits the pattern. The badge sits in the secret and event badges table next to Case Closed — one is nearly universal, the other is the rarity gap this page is about.

How does the Case Closed ending play out?

Late on the route, the man himself walks up to the bus. Two dialogue cards run back to back: “You made it. I need to reach the End Terminal.” and “Give me a ride and I’ll explain on the way.” — with an Alright reply. Fred boards, and this is the moment the badge has been building toward: Jack Hollow has found Fred. From here, keeping both of them alive to the last stop is what closes the case.

The recording ends at the summary screen: YOU REACHED TO THE LAST STOP — Chosen Ending: Case Closed, with 252 killed entities on the counter. Exactly how a Case Closed run interacts with the two official ending branches — whether Fred still turns, whether the fight or the cure can still happen — is not demonstrated in our sources, so treat that overlap as open territory and decide your branch before the last terminal.
